About

A little about who I am, how I work and what brought me here.

About

Good translation is about relationships.

At its core, translation is about building relationships. The best results come when the translator genuinely understands a client's business, their documents and what's at stake – and that understanding builds over time.

I work with a small number of clients directly, which means I can give every project the attention it deserves and get to know your business properly.

You'll always be dealing with me – not a project coordinator, not a different translator each time.

Process

Straightforward from start to finish.

Every client and every project is different. Some come with established processes and simply need a reliable expert to work within them – I'm happy to adapt to your systems, tools and workflows. Others are handling this kind of project for the first time and appreciate being guided through the process from start to finish. Either way, I'll make sure the experience is straightforward and that you always know where things stand.

Confidentiality is a given. All work is handled with full discretion, and I'm happy to sign NDAs as a matter of course.

Background

Two languages. Two countries. Lived from the inside.

I am a dual British–Swedish citizen and divide my time between Sweden and the UK. Having lived and worked long-term in both countries – as well as spending a number of years in the United States – I bring a depth of cultural and linguistic fluency that goes beyond what can be learned in a classroom or built from a distance. Swedish and English are not just languages I work in; they are languages I live in.
